Look-A-Likes® BougainFeelya
The BougainFeelYa rose was created by the Meilland International company and included in the Star Roses Look-A-Likes® brand on its introduction to the USA.
The BougainFeelYa presents small, vivid red singles. From a distance, the bushy shrub and mass of red flowers resembles the unrelated Bougainvilla vine. No fragrance. Dark green foliage. While it is rated for a height of 14 to 20 inches, we have seen it reach a height of more than 45 inches here in Portland. These are especially attractive as landscape roses, given the shiny, dark leaves and the profusion of small, red, single blooms.
