Firefighter is a hybrid tea rose.  It was introduced into the United States by Edmunds Roses in 2005.

Color:  Dark red, lighter reverse

Fragrance:  Strong, fruity, musky, sweet fragrance.

Blooms:  Average diameter of 4.5 inches, 26 – 45 petals.  Blooms  are borne mostly solitary, exhibition with high centered form on long stems.

The bush grows to 5’to 6’ with small semi-glossy dark green foliage.

The Peninsula Park rose Garden has Firefighter on display in the bed on the south side of the gazebo.
