Julia Child

The Julia Child rose was developed by American Tom Carruth and introduced in Europe in 2004. The Weeks Wholesale Rose Grower, Inc. brought this rose to the U.S. in 2006. Julia Child personally chose the rose to bear her name. This a a beautiful golden butter floribunda that blooms continuously throughout the season and has a licorice/clove fragrance. It is a sturdy bush with glossy green leaves and does quite well in the Pacific Northwest. The Julia Child rose was an AARS winner in 2006.
