My Girl

My Girl is a slightly fragrant shrub rose that grows to a height of 3 – 5 feet and a width of 3 – 5 feet.  It has dark pink blooms that grow in clusters of 5 to 30 buds.  It is compact puts on a good display of color in a border.  It is highly resistant to black spot and performs well in both warm and cool climate zones.  It grows on its own root stock.

My Girl was hybridized by Ping Lim as one of the Easy Elegance® line and registered in 1997.  It is available commercially.

Peninsula Park Rose Garden has My Girl on display in the border areas of beds 6, 7, 10 and 11.
