My Hero
My Hero is a bushy shrub rose that grows to a height of 2-3 feet and width of 2 feet. It has a mild fragrance and is hardy to zone 3. It prefers full sun. The blooms start off red, but age to a cherry pink. The double blooms are are 2-3 inches wide with 16-25 petals. It is disease-resistant. My hero is available commercially, but can be a challenge to find.
